John Lytle Equestrian Enterprises offers year-round equestrian education programs at PineView Farm for children and adults of all experience levels.  Instruction is provided by riding instructor/horse trainer, John Lytle with over thirty years of experience.  Our seasoned school horses and ponies are used in both indoor and outdoor professional riding arenas.

Learn to ride with skill and confidence

Effective communication with the horse is the key to enjoyable riding whether for pleasure or competition. To achieve this, lessons focus on:
  1. learning specific equestrian skills
  2. developing a rapport with the animal
  3. building the rider's muscular strength

Lessons take place in small groups

Classes are typically made up of students of similar age and skill level.  Family lessons are also available.  It's a great way for mom and dad to have fun with the kids! 

Lessons may be purchased individually for $55.00 or four for $180.00.  Payment must be made by cash or check prior to mounting.  Riders must wear pants, boots with a heel, and a protective helmet.  Expect to be at the barn for a full hour.

Summer Boot Camp

Campers will ride and also learn skills necessary for future horse ownership by participating in the care of the lesson horse and its equipment. Campers will enjoy an educational fun-filled week. Snack provided. Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 6/9/08, 6/16/08, 7/7/08, 7/14/08. Cost: $250 per week.

Polo Workshops and Group Trail Rides (JLEE students only)

Throughout the year, opportunities are made available for diverse equestrian activities.

Find the Right Horse

John is available to help you find the right horse for lease or purchase.  We also take horses and ponies on consignment.

Meet and Greet Sessions
